A month ago I was approached by journalist Jeroen Kreule. He was fascinated by Anna Maria van Schurman and wanted to interview me. Before we had a talk at Carla’s conditori, in the house of Van Schurman in Utrecht, he read the book De eerste studente: Anna Maria van Schurman (1636). Last Thursday the interview
